Young Ambassadors Scheme

Love otters and want to make a real difference?

Our Young Ambassador Scheme, supported by Chris Packham CBE and Lindsey Chapman, is now live and accepting applications!

We’re looking for young people of all ages that want to get involved in otter conservation by becoming one of our young supporters. We’re seeking people who want to use the Eurasian otter as a way to engage our younger generations with nature conservation, science, and education. Our Young Ambassadors will raise awareness of this wonderful species in schools and to the public by talking, doing, and engaging. The scheme aims to inspire and support young people to become leaders in the natural world, in turn helping less active peers to become involved in promoting the otter.

Ambassadors start at Bronze level and can work their way up to Platinum certificates over time — a wonderful achievement and qualification to have behind you as you help out a truly worthwhile cause. The scheme is designed to allow Ambassadors to work with teachers to organise school events, to become school Ambassadors to showcase the work they do, and support others in delivering sessions and awareness within both schools and the wider community. Becoming an active supporter and protector of wildlife is a wonderful and hugely rewarding activity — and you’ll be playing an important role in allowing real-life animals to thrive.
