Save Our Charity: Sponsor Our New Otter Cub Isolation Buildings

£500.00

Last order date for Christmas delivery: Saturday 20th December. Orders made after these dates may arrive in time for Christmas but aren’t guaranteed. Orders made between 20th December and 5th January won’t be sent out until after January 5th to give our volunteers a well deserved break.

By sponsoring the two new otter cub isolation buildings at our Specialist Otter Rehabilitation Centre, you will be directly helping rescued cubs on their journey to recovery. Each building will feature six indoor enclosures, each connected to a secure outdoor habitat, and will measure 24ft by 12ft. These facilities will provide a crucial space for cubs to grow and develop before “graduating” to the outdoor rehabilitation enclosures. The outdoor areas will be designed to mimic natural habitats, featuring pools, natural cover such as plants and bushes, and holts: everything the cubs need to build strength and prepare for release.

What you’ll receive:

  • A personalised digital sponsorship certificate
  • A plaque on the enclosure
  • A shout-out on social media
  • Your name and or logo added to our list of supporters on our website

(Can also be sponsored by other individuals and businesses)

The UK Wild Otter Trust is in crisis; having been given just six months to relocate from our home of the last four years and establish a new site, we’re in desperate need of funds.

We’re asking individuals and local businesses to help rescued otters thrive by sponsoring the new buildings at our brand new Specialist Otter Rehabilitation Centre. Each building will be essential for cub rehabilitation and the care they need before returning to the wild.
