UKWOT Volunteer Georgie Thorne is taking part in the Big Green Hike to raise money for our charity.

Hi!
We are oTTers ’24 aka Team Thorne and we are walking to raise funds for the UK Wild Otter Trust (UKWOT) during this year’s Big Green Hike. 💚
🥇My first walk back in 2021 was solo… 13 miler
🥈Second walk in 2022 saw my two nieces (aged 6 and 9) join me on a 10 miler…

🏅This year’s walk will now include myself , two nieces… And my other niece and nephew who have also been compelled to raise funds for this charity.
Learning of the vital support UKWOT delivers to rescue, rehabilitate and release otters not only educates their minds to conservation, threats and needs – but it inspires them to be advocates for otters.
This year… And with age range of 8-16…ok, 47 including me! we aim to walk 10 miles again with a target of £100.
But with your support we may extend our distance and target juuuust a little bit further.
Either way, I am a very proud Aunty to have such enthusiastic nieces and nephew who love and respect nature… And otters, just as much as I do.
