Nalu Beads worked closely with Tolga at the UK Wild Otter Trust to create a very special bead for the charity, which features a dark brown core, encased with clear glass and streamers of green and yellow with pale blue shards of frit melted into the surface of the bead. These are very special colours that have been chosen thoughtfully. The dark brown core represents the rich coat colour of the Eurasian Otter, the yellow and green lines represent the UK Otter Trust logo, and the pale blue frit represents the otters’ habitat which includes a mixture of rivers, canals, lakes, wetlands, and coastlines.
Your bead will be fitted to the braided bracelet, which will arrive in the colour of your choice with our grey sea glass spacer bead as a fastener. Please expect variations in colour of the cord and glass, as each piece is individually handmade to order.
